License Types - Editorial

Permitted Uses

You are granted the right to utilize the editorial content in both printed and digital formats for the following purposes:

  • News articles
  • Inclusion within non-fiction books
  • Documentaries
  • Other contexts that hold news value

Prohibited Uses

You are not allowed to use the editorial content for the following purposes:

  • Print covers
  • Broadcast on television or over-the-top (OTT) platforms, such as Netflix
  • Advertisements
  • Merchandise
  • Product packaging
  • Any other form of commercial or promotional application

Guidelines for Editorial Use

Additionally, when dealing with assets labeled under the “Editorial License”, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • These assets are exclusively intended for coverage of events or subjects that are newsworthy or of public interest. Usage is generally confined to newspaper or magazine articles, news blogs, or comparable media outlets.
  • It is strictly prohibited to employ these assets for commercial purposes, including but not limited to advertisements, promotions, endorsements, advertorials, commercial blogs, merchandise, etc. This restriction remains in effect even if you possess an Extended license, unless you have obtained prior written consent from the copyright owner of the asset, alongside any supplementary permissions that may be required.
  • Minor adjustments for technical enhancements, cropping, or resizing are permissible. However, the original editorial context and integrity must be preserved.
